Puget Sound Bird Fest

The Puget Sound Bird Fest is a celebration of birds and nature that happens each fall in Edmonds. It takes place September 10 and 11, 2022.
This event features guided bird walks, presentations, workshops, exhibits and other activities – including a boat cruise to Protection Island – throughout the weekend.
The keynote speaker is Martha Jordan, who will give a talk on Washington’s swans and snow geese, and their important connection to farmland: Saturday, Sept. 10 from 10:30-11:30 am in the Edmonds Plaza Room at 650 Main Street.
Other Saturday presentations throughout the day include a talk about mindful birding, building a backyard refuge, a talk about the birding oasis of the Montlake Fill.
Saturday field activities include several guided bird walks in the area, including one, “Birding by Ear.”
Sunday activities include more guided bird walks, a bird photography workshop, native plant demonstration garden tours, and the boat cruise to Protection Island.
