As we grow older, it can be harder for our lungs to do their job. Older adults are more susceptible to respiratory infections, including COVID-19, pneumonia and the flu. They’re also at higher risk of other lung conditions, including chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), asthma and lung cancer.
