Seattle traffic has been voted one of the worst in the country

A round-up of some recent polls of Washington state roads and driving conditions:

1. It probably comes as no shock to learn that Seattle is among the worst US cities for most congested rush hour traffic, according to a poll conducted by the injury law firm, BaderScot.com. You may be surprised that traffic here didn’t rank worse than it did. Seattle and Philadelphia tied in ninth place, with drivers spending an average of 3.17 hours per week in rush hour traffic. Over the course of a year, that is 6.1 days spent in rush hour traffic.

2. Bader Scott also commissioned a study about the most dangerous times to drive. Washington’s most dangerous time to drive is 8:00pm-8:59pm, with 6.22% of all fatal crashes occurring between those times. 4:00am-4:59am was found to be the safest time to drive.

3. State Route 525 was named the most feared road to drive in winter. A survey of 3,000 drivers This poll was conducted by Gunther VW Daytona.
