Join Northwest Center for Creative Aging at Town Hall Seattle on Monday, March 18 at 7:30pm for a discussion on "Lessons from the Japanese American Exclusion" with Clarence Moriwaki.

Moriwaki has held key positions in governmental, conservation and community organizations, including roles under President Bill Clinton and Washington State governors. He was the CEO of the Japanese Cultural and Community Center of Washington, is the past president of the Bainbridge Island Japanese American Community and the Bainbridge Japanese American Exclusion Memorial Association. He also holds the distinction of being our state's first and only 12-year-old Eagle Scout!

Moriwaki brings a timely narrative about the loss of liberty during periods of fear, prejudice, and political failures.

This event at Town Hall Seattle is in collaboration with the Northwest Center for Creative Aging. Sliding scale $5-$25, 1119 8th Ave (Entrance off Seneca), https://townhallseattle.org/event/clarence-moriwaki/
