Warren G. Magnuson Park is located on Lake Washington in northeast Seattle and offers free parking. If it’s a nice day, add a walk through the park after you’re done perusing the art at the Best of the Northwest Festival. Magnuson Park offers more than four miles of walking trails along the shores of Lake Washington, grassy fields, evergreen and deciduous trees, and public art installations. The park’s “historic district” features more than 20 brick and metal structures built in the 1930s and 1940s. Formerly a military base, Magnuson Park has many landmarks and historical sites that prominently display Art Deco style architecture. Magnuson also has a huge variety of amenities and features such as sports fields, community garden, wetland habitat, trails, boat launch, community center, swimming beach, and more! At 350 acres, it is Seattle’s second largest park. For more information about Magnuson Park including directions, visit Magnuson Park – Parks.
