Join Rebecca Crichton in conversation with Andrea Cohen, MSW, longtime facilitator of Compassionate Listening practices. The event, "Practicing the Art of the Heart," takes place on Wednesday, January 10 at 7:30pm as part of Northwest Center for Creative Aging's collaboration with Town Hall Seattle.

Andrea Cohen is author of Practicing the Art of Compassionate and director of a film about compassionate listening, Children of Abraham.  She will share personal stories of how these practices have transformed conflicts -- with families, friends, and within challenged communities. The practices have turned these conflicts into relationships based on greater understanding, caring, and connecting. She co-directed the Jewish-German reconciliation project for many years.
