Wooden Boat Festival

The Wooden Boat Festival in Port Townsend touts itself as the largest wooden boat festival in North America. The festival runs September 6 - September 8. 

With 300 wooden boats, 100 presenters, 50 exhibitors and three days of festivities, the Wooden Boat Festival invites you to explore historic wooden boats, take part in workshops, and get out on the water on a wooden schooner, at the oars of a historic replica longboat, in small paddle-wheelers, and other boats on display in Port Hudson. Many demonstrations and hands-one activites are part of this popular annual event.
