The most viewed article on Northwest Prime Time's website this past week was "Three Free June State Park Days."
While two out of those free June days have passed since the article was originally posted, June 19th offers another day to take advantage of a state park without needing a Discover Pass to park. So, why not plan a visit to picnic and play at any of the 140 Washington State Parks for free.
In addition to being a free day, June 19th also offers some special events taking place at a few of the state parks.
On June 19th, Deception Pass State Park offers a guided hike to learn about marine mammals (More Details) and a program about how the most recent ice age shaped this most visited of all state parks. (More Details)
Kitsap Memorial State Park is offering a free yoga in the park session on June 19th. (More Details).
Cape Disappointment State Park has an event on June 19th to tell the science behind the profusion of wildlife at the mouth of the Columbia River. (More Details)
