Leaping Silver Sturgeon April Ryan

On August 1st did you miss the night sky to see a UFO—unique fish orb?

Sleepy, did you count the number of sturgeons jumping over the moon?

Did your fishing pole slow dance to its only reel line strumming a song?

Was it a dawn surprise on tv news—August Super Sturgeon Full Moon?

You are too late to take a trip or get that special sturgeon fishing license.

Well friend, you don’t need to float a boat or wait for a big tug on the line.

You don’t have to play harmonica or guitar and warble the sturgeon blues.

Cast fishing dreams—an August 31st Super Sturgeon Blue Moon is coming.

April Ryan, author of her book April Blossoms has written numerous stories and poems, including some prize winners and many for Northwest Prime Time.
