There’s Something About a Mother

| May 8, 2022

There’s something about Mother,

We sometimes find hard to explain,

But, when all others turn and run,

Her love remains the same;

Always ready with open arms,

To give a protective hug and kiss,

And bring healing to our sorrows,

In opportunities we have missed;

Who else would spend sleepless nights?

To care for her child in need,

Who else would carry an eternal prayer?

An offering for her seed;

Yes, there’s something about a Mother,

As we lift her name on high,

Giving Godly praise and honor,

For she gave us wings to fly!
