Join Erika and Rebecca Crichton on January 13 at 7:30pm for "Here's to the Future!" An intergenerational conversation about aging at Town Hall Seattle, presented by the Northwest Center for Creative Aging. 


The mother-daughter duo, Rebecca Crichton and Erika Crichton, bring extensive experience in aging, caregiving, end-of-life planning, and will discuss how Gen X and Boomers can learn more about one another by openly sharing perspectives on joys and challenges of aging well in our modern world. 


Erika Crichton completed her Master of Social Work degree at Columbia University in 2006. Since then, she has worked in the fields of aging, disability and dementia services, caregiver support and training, and hospice and palliative care. She has extensive experience as a medical social worker and has also held leadership roles in large healthcare systems. Erika is a Washington State Licensed Advanced Social Worker and trained Dignity Therapy© practitioner. She also holds certifications from the National Association of Social Work and the Center to Advance Palliative Care. Her combined clinical and healthcare administration experience gives her a unique lens for how to help her clients navigate complex health and social services systems.


Rebecca Crichton, Executive Director of Northwest Center for Creative Aging (NWCCA) brings wisdom and purpose to her work with the aging community. She retired from a 21-year career at Boeing as a writer, curriculum designer, and leadership development coach. Her Encore Career uses her knowledge and experience to offer programs and resources related to Creative Aging in the Seattle area. NWCCA collaborates monthly with Town Hall Seattle. She facilitates Wisdom Cafes for the King County Library System and writes a regular column for 3rd Act Magazine. Trained as a Hospice Volunteer, Rebecca continues to teach and facilitate Grief and Resilience support groups for several organizations. Rebecca has master’s degrees in child development and organizational development and is a Certified Coach.
