Wisdom Café and Social Hour: Do You Celebrate Yourself?

On Wednesday, July 29 from 1:00 to 2:30pm, join with other older adults to share your experiences of aging, because the more we share our experiences, the better we are at it. Share your insights and connect with others.

We often look to others to acknowledge our hard work and rely on them to congratulate us. Do we need to prove our worth? Self-celebration isn’t bragging; it’s about the tiny everyday wins and honoring the person you are in this moment. Join us to share your opinion and explore different perspectives.

Enjoy a refreshing beverage and chat with your senior peers. You bring the conversation, and we will provide the snacks, courtesy of the Friends of the Fairwood Library.

Wisdom Cafes provide space for older adults to engage in ongoing and facilitated conversations about livability issues as we grow older.
