If you know where in Washington this photo was taken, you may win $100!

Hints and instructions on how to enter:
Hint #1: The annual series of events takes place in the Greater Seattle and Puget Sound region each summer and includes smaller neighborhood events and parades leading up to the big finale.
Hint #2: The event showcases a Torchlight Parade in July and hydroplanes races in August. The hydroplane races include appearances by the Navy Blue Angels roaring overhead, with countless spectators lining the shores of Lake Washington or tied up in boats along the log boom (which has been called the largest floating party).
Hint #3: Your answer should include the name of this famous annual summertime festival.
HOW TO ENTER: The winner will be drawn at random from the correct answers sent to editor@northwestprimetime.com by July 18, 2025. If no correct answer is received, the $100 prize will transfer to the following contest.
CONTEST RULES: Anyone entering the contest will be automatically added to our subscription list to receive the monthly newsletter, which alerts readers to new posts on the homepage over the past month.
LAST MONTH’S CONTEST
K. Swanson of Lake Forest Park was the winner of last month’s contest, which featured a photo from the annual Solstice Parade in Seattle’s Fremont neighborhood. The photo showcased the “*in*famous” nearly naked but body-painted bicyclists that roll through the parade every year.
