Ship sails toward Seattle to participate in Seafair Fleet Week

The spectacle known as the Seattle Fleet Week returns to Seafair.

Seattle Fleet Week runs Tuesday, July 30 through Sunday, August 4. The festivities include the annual Parade of Ships, the opportunity to tour ships and meet sailors and guardsmen and enjoy free music.

The celebrations begin on Tuesday, July 30 at 1pm with the Parade of Ships through Elliott Bay on the Seattle Waterfront. The Parade includes ships from the U.S. Coast Guard, U.S. Navy, and the Seattle Fire Department boat before they all dock at Pier 46.

At Pier 46, you will see exhibits from the Navy, the Puget Sound Navy Museum, military working dog demonstrations, and many other displays and booths.

Ship Tours

Visitors will pass through airport style security screening. Maneuvering on board ships and climbing narrow ladders can be tricky! Bags, strollers and wheelchairs are not allowed and there is no holding area for personal items. Wear closed toe shoes and do not bring any items from the prohibited list (listed in website below). Bring your government issued ID for Ship Tours.
