What’s Age Got to Do with It?

Aging is an opportunity to discover new capacities and new interests. Would you like to participate in an interactive discussion about aging? On January 20 at 7:30 – both live at Town Hall Seattle or streaming, Dori Gilliam of Northwest Center for Creative Aging, discusses how to talk about aging in a positive affirming way.

Some topics up for discussion include: What do you wish society would stop saying about your generation? How can we begin valuing all ages – including ours?

Dori Gilliam describes the talk as interactive and fun. In addition to her work with the Northwest Center for Creative Aging – an organization the advocates for creativity vitality – she is a speaker and writer, and a charter member of the Age Friendly Seattle Coalition.

The live event takes place at Town Hall Seattle, 1119 8th Avenue. The event will also be streamed. Tickets are on a sliding scale from $5-$20. Click here for more details, ticket and streaming info.
