On Friday, February 24 at 7pm, Seattle Symphony performs a free community concert in Seattle’s Rainier Valley.
The community concert will feature new and celebrated music for orchestra in collaboration with Seattle Youth Symphony Orchestra.Music Youth Southeast is an extracurricular orchestral ensemble of Seattle Youth Symphony Orchestra co-created with the South Seattle community. Music Youth Southeast contributes to the vibrant arts culture in the Rainier Valley by celebrating the gift of music and performance with the community. Music Youth Southeast is offered tuition-free to ALL violin, viola, cello, bass and percussionists with at least one year of experience on their instrument.RSVP recommended.
