Comedy by and for adults: Bonnie Barchichat’s Senior Comedy Afternoons came about in response Bonnie’s desire to please and, more importantly, to amuse her 91-year-old mother. “My husband and I had taken her out to a comedy club for an evening’s entertainment and she just hated it,” said Bonnie. “She just couldn’t relate to the young comedians and the language being used.” So, Bonnie got to thinking—why not create something just for seniors?
