Mossback Podcast

Knute "Mossback" Berger's new podcast is a companion piece to his video program, Mossback's Northwest

If you caught the cover story Northwest Prime Time featured on Knute “Mossback” Berger, At Large with Knute “Mossback” Berger, you would have read about Crosscut’s new podcast featuring Knute — the Mossback Podcast.

The podcast is the official companion to the KCTS 9 video series, Mossback’s Northwest. The podcast features Sara Bernard interviewing co-host Knute about the stories and factoids that were left on the cutting room floor, along with critical analysis from Knute.

The first podcast in this new series is “Why we’re still searching for D.B. Cooper.” It offers a closer look — with more theories — at the case of the world’s most famous mile-high bandit.

Some of the other podcasts explore Pacific Northwest sea monsters, Paul Bunyan’s place in the Pacific Northwest, and “What a salad can tell us about PNW’s complicated past.”

Check out all the Mossback podcasts at Mossback | Crosscut.
