Charles pledging allegiance to the 12th man.
| February 17, 2014

The other day as I was going about my business, I saw the umpteenth blue flag with the number twelve waving in the wind and had a Francis Bellamy moment. So, with apologies to Francis Bellamy, sort of:

“A New Pledge of Allegiance”

I pledge allegiance

to the Twelfth Man

of the Seattle Sea Hawks of Washington

and to the Championship

for which it stands,

one fan base

indivisible

under Sherman

cheering with Home Pride for All!

Born in Newark New Jersey in 1944, Charles Forsher is a retired Property Manager who normally writes vignettes about his life.
