Want to see some of Seattle’s coolest modern architecture and interior design? Come and join the Seattle Modern Home Tour!

The Seattle Modern Home Tours is a city-wide, self-guided driving tour that will feature eight to ten architecturally progressive and contemporary homes in the Seattle area that exemplify modern living. Tour-goers get the chance to explore the inside and out of the Emerald City’s greatest examples of modern home architecture and see first-hand the visually astounding principles of modernist thinking.

Check out a shoreline home in Fauntelroy Cove; a simple-yet-elegant home in Wallingford, a new home featuring a catwalk library in Ravenna; a factory-constructed home shipped from Boise, Idaho, now perched in the Atlantic neighborhood; a multi-family, mixed-use condominium in Westlake; the Japanese and Italian-influenced home, nicknamed “Chiaroscuro,” in Sunset Hill; the Queen Anne-Hill AIA Home of the Year winner; and the very special “House of the Immediate Future,” part of ‘The Next 50’ celebration honoring the 50th Anniversary of the 1962 Seattle World’s Fair, on display at the Seattle Center.

While viewing the homes throughout the day, keep in mind that partial proceeds of the tour will go to furthering the non-profit Seattle Architecture Foundation’s programs and mission of connecting people to the power of design.

Participants in the Seattle Modern Home Tour will open their doors to tour-goers from 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM on Saturday, September 29, all around Seattle, Washington. Tickets are $25 in advance online; use the code NWPT to save $5 on each advance ticket. Kids under 12 are FREE!
