The best lasagna recipes on the web

Lasagna feeds large crowds, makes delicious leftovers, and has as many variations as you have imagination. Many lasagna lovers cannot keep a good thing secret and have shared their favorite lasagna recipes online. While recipes are all over the web, AllRecipes.com contains a whole menu’s worth in one place, all of which come with scrumptious reviews.

The basics pretty much remain the same: Layer noodles with the sauce, part of the cheese, and the staple ingredient. Top the whole dish with the remaining cheese and bake.

Meat lovers will be drooling over the variation simply billed World’s Best Lasagna. It features sausage, egg, as well as ground beef with a sweet combination of spices that include basil, fennel, Italian seasoning, pepper, fresh parsley, and sugar.

Eating your vegetables can be a given with a lasagna variation that contains some green. Leave out the meat altogether with a creative take on an all-vegetable dish with Artichoke and Spinach Lasagna that simmers in vegetable broth instead of tomato sauce.

Keep the meat with other options that include Sausage and Peppers Lasagna, featuring green and red bell peppers and cream cheese instead of ricotta; Sausage and Zucchini Lasagna that includes pieces of tender zucchini; and Creamy Sausage and Spinach Lasagna that features spinach, Alfredo sauce and cheddar cheese.

If the creamier version appeals to you, try a variation with chicken instead of sausage with a rich White Cheese Chicken Lasagna. The dish contains chicken, spinach, and a thick mozzarella sauce rather than traditional tomato.
