The One and Only Tommy Dorsey Orchestra Swings into Seattle

The Tommy Dorsey Orchestra — recognized as one of the best all-around big bands of the 20th century — swings into Seattle for five Seattle Pops series performances at Benaroya Hall. Known as the “Sentimental Gentleman of Swing,” Tommy Dorsey was a master at creating superb arrangements for dancing and listening alike. Entertaining audiences since the late 1930s with hits including “I’ll Never Smile Again,” “Marie,” “On the Sunny Side of the Street,” “Song of India,” “Opus One” and “Swanee River” — the Dorsey legacy continues to thrive in 2013 with vocalist Bryan Anthony and leader Terry Myers.
The Orchestra performs at S. Mark Taper Foundation Auditorium at Seattle’s Benaroya Hall on:
